European Yacht of the Year 2009

Anders Kurten We have been insanely busy since launch of hull #1, and have since launched hull #2 that already started earning her spurs by taking second place in the Volvo Suursaari Race 2008 – 5 days after splash! We have also sold a couple of more boats, and showed the boat to a gathering of international boating journalists at the Finnboat Floating Show in Nauvo in early June. Stand by for write-ups in major sailing magazines this fall. Furthermore we received a nomination for the venerable European Yacht of the Year Award 2008/2009 in the category “Performance Cruiser”, which does feel quite good – sort of like a “good housekeeping seal of approval” for the work we have done over the past 18 months! I am really looking forward to the fall boat show season this year!
